4mil vs 8mil video demonstrations

hey guys... maybe a no brainer topic.. I know how you all like them.. But there is a guy selling (non 3m) 4mil in the area, cleaning up, stating to customers that it will be sufficient for hurricane protection. IMO, it will not be, according to tests. I have viewed the 15mil ace vid that withstood gunshots, but is there any clips, videos, dvd demonstrations that will prove that 4 mil, with or without an attachment, will not be strong enough? Again, if some of you guys could refrain from being arses with this post, I'd appreciate it. Thanks..

You don't want DVD demos, you want a written result from an independent testing company other than the film MFG.

The reason is that testing companies hold to a control environment that makes for more accurate results. These videos that are running rampant do not give you any information beyond the film type and what is visual. That is not good -imo.

don't know about frame attchments, I don't do a ton of security film, and don't have hurricanes but this was one good experiance with it for me.
