It's best to see it from their perspective...

I know a lot of customers don't understand our products the way we understand them, BUT COME ON! A guy came in today who had a window replaced by a local glass company, and they had us retint just the new window. He was griping because the new window didn't match his faded, discolored, ugly old tint! Get real dude, or is it that the majority rules, and that the old tint looks better to you just because there's more of it? :booga

I'm glad I'm not the only one who deals w/ these people.

I can't count how many times I've been asked to match the old scratched up purple tint. People actually think it's supposed to be that bad. :lol6

I deal with this all the time..drives me nuts!

They should make a film with purple dye minus the waiting/fading period for the purposes of matching up...I'd keep a roll around for these customers then I wouldn't have to listen to them wine about it :lol6

Good Evening ladies and gentlemen in tonights news break through technology in window tinting. The installers have manufactured a tint that will match the one you put on 12 years ago. Made from paper thin material and dyed purpled with slight distortions no one will ever know you replaced that window.Even if you are in an accident you can now have the same look as you once had. Great for DIY fers with little or no experience. Even matches bubble patterns on the rest of your car..

This product people is called Purple Power. If the tint does not fade , bubble, or discolor in 6 mths to a year. we will give you a full refund and more tint to redo them yourself.

Think this would fly? :booga
