Im doing a car which has dot matrix on the back edge of the glass also it has a little round metal button there on the same edge for what I could make out it is a guide for the glass to go up and down,do I cut film up to the matrix or do I tint over matrix taking note that I would have that metal button to deal with,the car is a nissan integra( import from japan).

Nissan Integra On Acura Integras I slide the film past the matrix keeping the button in mind when I cut the pattern. Some Integras seals are pretty tight on the sides and the film can't be slid back quite that far.

I cut that car out over the matrix, and then cut a small radius where the button is. Usually, you can get back into the seal if you're careful. Last thing I do is heat the matrix a little from the outside and try to get it to stick evenly.
