Hey guys, I'd like to know which brand of window solution you guys use?

I use J&J baby body wash for 4-mil installs because it contains less PH and it dries much faster than other products out there, but I like to read your opinions.

I'm really beginning to like the film-on/dirt-off combo by CPFilms.

:thumb That's the stuff. And J&J for all bronze, low e, and security films. :thumb

where you guys get film-on/dirt-off combo by CPFilms from? I'd like to try that.

Thanks

We use a ton of X-100 which is "Dirt-off" in a gallon sized bottle. CP-Films sells it. You could try looking at 44Tools.com they may carry it. :thumb

CPFilms = Llumar.

So if you use Llumar then you can get it through them.

Otherwise, yeah, www.44tools.com which is the tool sales department of a Llumar distributor.

metint claims that Film-On is basically baby shampoo minus one ingredient which may (according to him) be not good on the adhensive.

I like the fact that I can accurately measure the Film-On/Dirt-Off very easily (just pump it). It also doesn't leave that nasty baby shampoo goo build up in my bottles.

But for cars in super hot weather I do spike it with a bit of baby shampoo from time to time.
