Ok, for the first time ever I etched a piece of back glass with my blade :thumb , is there anything that can either fill, polish or buff this to fix it? The guy is being cool about t, but I feel really bad about it because he is a member of a car club I belong to. It is only about 3 inches long and it is a very light scratch. Thanks in advance for any help

There is a glass company here that claims they have a product that will remove those cuts from the glass. I haven't tried it personally, but I would say try your local glass shop as a 1st step. They might know of a product that can help you.

there is a system that a co. called "glass mechanix" offers ..usually there is at least 1 autoglass co. in a major city that has this system, they should be able to help you out :thumb

sorry everybody, but nothing will take it out if you can catch it with your fingernail. PERIOD.

That's what I thought too TTS, but the company here still claims they can remove those cuts and scratches as well. I personally think it's :thumb

because it is BS. yeah, they can remove it, only thing is it leaves a big spot on the glass where they took it out. it's worse than the scratch and definately more noticable.

kinda like getting a scratch in your paint and using a spray can to cover it up.
