friday I done a mercedes ,bmw ,when you open the doors the windows roll down about half ".I looked for the manual but of course its not in the glove box.called mercedes and they told me that they is several fuses for that function ,so I disconected the battery.any feed back

yes you just have to trick the door latch into thinking it's closed and the window wil stay up the whole time until your ready to untrick it so you can close the door. close the latch with your bone or put a bunch of business cards in the door jamb on bmws and that will close the window, it's in the latch area!

the fastest/easiest way I have found (hence the most profitable) is to use a screw driver to latch the door on newer models and on older model Mercedes the lever/latch is located on the frame pillar V.S. the door latch. I put an old piece of rubber I shaped into a cone and wedge it it until the latch is fooled thinking the door is closed tight. Remember to heat the bottom of the outside glass area to expidite the drying time on the doors and do them first so the are almost dry when you "open" the door and the window drops again.

Best way is to take off the inner channels and trick the locks.And do the doors first so it will dry before you finish the rest.
