I love tinted cars. All my cars are tint but it starting to cost me some $$$. I have worked on cars all my life and feel good about what I can do. Is the pre cut tint by solar gard any good? Is it hard to do? I have a sho 91 taurus and looking to get it done. I have a local guy that does kick ass work. He will do all windows for 150.00. I have taken him 5 cars so far. I see a company selling pre cut for my car all windows by solar gard for 60.00. Is it worth me doing it and saving the money or is it worth me to just pay the 150.00 and wait around his shop of 2 hours for it to get done? :hmmm

let me know please thanks guys!!

Well I must say that you didn't learn mechanicing (is that a word?) by just reading about it did you?

Go ahead and give it a shot. After it's all said and done $225.00 isn't that big a price to pay when you could have settled for $150.00 but the experience will be priceless.

Kind of like dropping your wallet over the edge of the basket on a hot air balloon ride. See Ya !!!

since you've never tinted, go ahead and buy 3 sets of tint for that car. Then set aside 1 full week to tint the car. So far, you've spent $180 plus shipping on the tint, missed a week of work, and I'll bet you won't have ONE window looking as good as your 5-time tinter.

You call the play.

LASER CUT? where the hell did you get that idea from? it's cut on a plotter, with a small razor blade.

there's a guy that sells a dvd that shows you exactly how to tint. buy that, plus like wndo said, you'll need at least three sets of tint, (probably more) and by the third set, you should have it looking better than a professional job. all for more than double what you could have just paid to have it done, WITH A WARRANTY. :asshat
