Toyota Matrix - MPV?

I really like this forum! I have a question to ask. Does anyone know if a Toyota Matrix would fall under the Multi-Purpose Vehicle classification? It is billed by Toyoya as a CUV (Compact Utility Vehicle) but this may be too gray of an area.

Please forgive me if this has been addressed before but I couldn't find it using the search tool.

I tint them as if they were an MPV. we have laws here that are different if it's an MPV. haven't had any problems yet.

Look in the door jam of the driver's door. The manufacturer's plate should say what type of vehicle it is. PASS or MPV

If a vehicle comes out of the factory with privacy glass on the back, they just classified it as "other than a car" in my opinion.

Outback, PT Cruiser, Vibe/Matrix, Chrysler Pacifica, etc.

they're all basically station wagons. and I've always tinted station wagons as if they were an MPV, no matter what they were actually classified as.
