while I carry some PT film,,, Its not a big seller here... takes a little longer to dry than the atr, and has a slightly more grey look.

I used to use it, back in the Llumar days. Then we switched to ATRST. Don't remember too much about it, just didn't like the look. Too reflective.

Had some failures and is kind of shiney compared to ATR. I use to use it back in the days but when the film started to have glue failure, I dropped the Centaur film. Now that the ATR Charcoal is Llumastar, I will give CP Films another chance.

we used it for 4 years atleast. I wouldnt mess with it. the stuff I have seen come back for warranty work was purplish and did not look good.

I figured it must not be very good. I don't know anyone that sells it, and nobody ever mentions it on the board either.

but zrok said something about nobody posting anything lately, so I was just trying to get something started.

Centaur, aka PT, aka phony titanium, aka porous technology (pour us another drink cause this stuff may come back)...:lol

LLumar's answer to slow drying Titanium films never really gained popularity except in Florida. The color fades to a pinkish ATR CH color over a few years and the adhesive got all fuzzy in about two years where it was really hot & humid (Florida).

LLumar has since (about 3-4 years ago) found what caused the adhesive fuzzy and corrected it throughout all their auto films, but Centaur isn't popular because of color and reflectivity.

I have a friend in Florida who did not experience the same adhesive problems in Centaur as the rest of the tinters in that state... he said it was because he took the time to get the water out instead of limp squeegeeing the tint and letting the sun do the reat. :hmmm
