I ran into a friend of mine yesterday, he owns a Chevrolet Dealership, he said they just got a bulletin from the manufacturer stating do not tint the windows on the new Tahoe or Yukon it will interfere with the navigation system.

I am assuming that it is the metallized films that cause interference, or at least I am hoping that is the case. Otherwise, we could see some dark days in the window tinting future, if all manufactures start issuing these kinds of bulletins.

He told me that he was going to send one over to me next week, and we will tint every window. He is curious to see just how real of a problem it is.

I will try and get a copy of the bulletin and post it.
