Ok,

I'm new to the tint shop world, opening a new tint shop in a few months, still looking for a name. I'm doing work now, but I'm not open to the public yet. I have a very small shop, can only fit one car at a time. I have the tools and the drive to get going, I've found my supplier and I'm getting comfortable using a razor, I'm seeming to catch on quick to this type of work. I'm located in Ventura, Ca in a busy auto center area. I have a tire & brake shop, paint shop, interior shop, engine shop, stereo shop, and carbarator shop all in the same complex as me, should I make good money? Should I look into getting a helper? I have less then 1 year ex, but I seem to be coming along quickly. I'm hoping to get this thing going and make some decent money. Any pointers as far as business operations would be helpfull. Thanks.

:)

I used to spend time every summer in Oxnard with my Grandparents when I was a kid. They owned Glen View Mobile home park. Is Dominics Italian Restaurant still there? I remember riding my grandfathers Honda Trail 70 to the Sea Bee base where they had the missle display when I was 7 years old. Then I would tear it up in the lemon orchards on the way back. :)

My advise to you is to hire a guy with experience build a good buisness relationship and have him train you :lol2

If you already have a place this could only benefit you because of the increased volume you could be doing with an experienced installer. JMO :lol2
