Hello, I was reading the suntek information pack they sent me and I was wondering if anyone else has gotten rolls cut down before. I wanted to buy a roll of 36" and a roll of 24" so I was thinking of buying a 60" and having it cut. It says on the bottom of the form there is no extra charge. I was just curious if anyone else did this.....also, should I cut it down 36"/24" or 38"/22"? Which would I get the best use out of? The reason I ask is because its a few bucks cheaper....Thanks, Nick

I usually just buy 60 and cut it myself onthe table to fit, but cutting it at 38 - 22 is no bad done it before saves alittle time. sungard charges for the cut about five dollars its up to you.

I just buy 20 inch rolls for the roll ups, 30 inch rolls cover most of the back glass's, and 40 inch rolls for the few windows that need that big of a film. I have a large selection, but I usually just carry these sizes for 5% and 15% because those are my most commonly used. For the rest of the shades I use 40 inch and 20 inch.

I order 24" rolls and have SG cut them down to 4 rolls 6" wide for doing windshield strips.  other than that I usually just order 40" rolls for automotive.

you should try 8" 6" 10"

the 10 work great on ford trucks, the 6" strip looks like a sliver on some,

one question: do you cut the bottom line on sunstrips, or leave it straight?

I order 60's and have them cut. Both my suppliers cut at no charge and if you will look the 60" roll is usually a little cheaper by the sg ft.

Dont know why but it is :coffee

I leave em straight and 6" is the legal limit so that's what they get. whether it's a sliver or not. :beer

most I cut to match the top edge, so I go for 6" in the center, thats why different sizes for me :coffee
