I just started tinting about 6mos ago. I always thought that pickup trucks would be the easiest to do.NOT.LOL. im having the hardest time cutting out the rear sliding window were the handle is attached. Any tips??

use scrap clear liner to make a template 1st.

plus, some latches have hard clear adhesive gooped up past the latch. carve that excess chit out while youre blading.

its the clear backing off a piece tint, try cutting patern from the inside

I agree, release or clear liner would be the best bet trace out pattern on inside with liner then trace again on glass and tint to make pattern out of film. Hey I could just sell you a pattern if it gets to rough for ya :lol2 !! HA-HA

open the window about an inch. line the tint up on the outside. cut out latch. take tint to the inside. line the tint up on the latch(make sure liner is facing glass). slide tint away fron the latch about an 1/8 inch. cut top and bottom. cut back using the edge of the glass. take tint off clean and stick. tint should line up on the latch and you should hav :lol2 e an 1/8 inch gap int the back.
