Guest Stratusrtrida
Hey, So I got home from work tonight and I decided I was going to play around with some old tint I had laying around. My parents went to Vegas for the week so my dads eldorado is parked in the garage. I layed the tint on the back window. Then I did the heat shrinking thing perfect. I did apply it to the window knowing I would have to take it off cause I don't think my father wants to drive around with 20% on his back window. Anyways, it came out the balls. I have tried back windows before but never knew the proper procedure until I came on this site about a week ago. So its been awhile and once I knew how I got it on the first try. I know an Eldorado isn't going to be the hardest car to tint, but I was really excited and I thought I would share it. Some of you guys are probably laughing at me but I am a new guy in this field. So just doing something I have struggled with in the past made me fee lpretty good about it. Too bad I had to take it off...haha Thanks for listening. Guest Stratusrtrida
haha thanks guys. Well, seeing I got a $605 ticket not to long ago for tint, I will be stripping all my windows to bring my car to court. Once I do that I will be tinting my own windows by then. I even got a sample pack in the mail today from Suntek, maybe Ill order some rolls and get started.

Guest cadillacstars
Sweet dude, what year was the Eldo? I have a 90 eldo and a 90 seville. the first cars I ever did shrinking on. Not the hardest cars out there, but very good for practice because they do not take much tint, but require shrinking both top and bottom.
Guest Stratusrtrida
this is a 2000 Eldorado. It was difficult for me because I only have 24" rolls. It came up about a half an inch short. So I did it in two pieces. I have to shrink the lower piece but the top didn't require any at all. Im going to order two rolls of 36" X 100' and two rolls of 24"X100' 35% and 20% of each size. I think that should be good enough to start me off...Im gonna be ordering from Suntek I think....anyone have suggestions on which to go with? I was thinking the standard but its only under warrenty for 3 years...what do you guys suggest?
