hey, I am looking to buy my first few rolls of tint. I was thinking of just starting off with a 35% and a 20% roll. Maybe 36" X100' or something like that. What do you guys recomend. Also. I was just wondering how I go about buying it? Do I need to set up an account or should I just call them? Do you get a discounted price if you have a tax ID number? I new to this so im not really sure where to start...thanks in advance

if you want to keep as few rolls as possible

40' rolls will fit almost everything, but you will need a wall mount or something to slit the film down.

or 20" & 24" for front side windows 35%

and 20" & 24" & 36" for rear windows 20%

that should cover most cars

I was thinking about getting the 36" because it will fit a good amount of rear windows for one piece. If I have to do it in two I will do that as well for now. I just need to make some money before I spend too much of it. haha. Where should I buy the film from?

I have a question for you. Have you tinted anything before? :bingo don't be offended, just out of curiosity I want to know.

And welcome. :DD

yea, I tinted my 02 stratus coupe except the back window...that was about 4 years ago, I have tinted a few other cars since then. I can get the sides no prob, its just the rear heat shrinking process...Im looking to get this down soon though

has anyone ever heard of www.wholesaletinting.com ? I bought my film from them 4 years ago and my car still looks great. But, its alot cheaper in price so im starting to think thats the reason I had such a hard time shrinking the tint. Then, on the other hand, I don't wanna go spend a million bucks on tint just to learn how to shrink. I would rather waste the cheaper stuff...I just don't have $500 to drop on tint right now. I wouldn't mind if I knew I would have peoples cars to do and I would be able to do it right
