You seem to be the golf authority on this site, so I figured I throw a quick question your way.

I'm looking at new clubs, and was wondering on the shaft differences. I need a regular flex shaft, so a steel shaft will be what I'm in the market for, but what's the difference betwee the appollo steel shafts and the true temper shafts? The appollo steel shafts are a good amount cheaper, but I don't want something that's going to be crap in a couple years. I usually replace my golf set every 6 or 7 years, but I've never really researched them much before buying. These clubs are being custom tailored to my height, swing speed and all, but when ordering off the net it's a little vaque on the quality and purpose of the different steel shafts.

Any input would be appreciated. :bingo

I wasn't going to say anything, but they are clone clubs. :evilgrin

I just figured if there was no real difference between apollo steel shafts and true temper steel shafts, then there would be no reason for me to spend 80 extra bucks on the irons for a shaft that didn't really matter. A graphite shaft wouldn't work well for me.

These are internet order clubs, so I can't test them. But I've mashed plenty of balls on the range and simulators with the name brand clubs that these are a copy of, and loved them. Just don't feel like spending 1100 bucks on a set of irons :bingo , so I took this route.
