Have any of you professionals ever checked out the quality of work done by one horse town country tinters who know Jack S..t about window tinting?

OMG after having just taken a few days off over Xmas to go interstate, some of the flat glass jobs Isaw were pathetic.

One was in a social club where a bank of windows had been cut short by 2"s so the guy just added a piece to those he made a mistake on. Can you imagine how bad that looked? It was also gapped by 1/2" at the top... windows were about 4' X 5'. Dirt everywhere too, torn edge cutting :lol6 and they get away with it.

Wicked work standards! :gasp

You know what I'm on about dig....RSL League Club.

And another biggy at a Safeway store west facing glass with a 50% VLT....friggin hell it was how"s your father!

Ohhh on the way back I had to call in at a little hospital in Sh.t Creek and the registrar showed me some kitchen glass done a couple of years back by a local.

Well you should have seen that effort? Different bod this time around who does it part time.

Even if I was really generous I'd give the install about a 3 out of 10.

Unbloodybelievable OZ.

the more compitition you have in an area you got your choice of either better jobs or cheeper prices. :gasp

but its amazing just how much better some people can get if a new shop pops up. :lol6

sorry you saw some bad work dev but, for the record, good work does not have to come from a "city tinter" :poop

Yeah...Gus lives in the middle of Illinois corn fields, but he does good work. :lol But the city is moving out towards Gus, he'll be cosmopolitan in short order. :lol
