Please Help

Ok I have a 97 honda civic and it had window tint in it and the windows would not go up and down smoothly and would sometimes pop out of the track. I removed the tint and the window works fine. Is there a different kind of window tint that that I should try to stop this from happening or what are some suggestions. The window tint I used was a cheap kind

well I bought the car with it already installed....it had been on awhile and had turned purple.....the rubber wippers were in the right position....I am pretty sure the guy that owned it did it him self

hondas are well known for troubled gaskets and glass popping out of track.

Yeah, sounds like the seal to me also. Have been fighting those things for years. Customer:" My door is peeling". Me: "Let me guess...............Do you have a civic"

No No NO Not wd 40 way to greasy for a roll up. Pledge furniture polish works very well for a slip agent for the gaskets. Also keeps the film looking nice

Auto parts stores sell a spray silicone lube that might work well...when I worked in an auto glass shop, we used it a lot.
