Reasoning for tinting a convertible car

Guest netalbert

Out of curiosity, is it just as practical and reasonable to tint a convertible or would it ruin and become a drawback for all the reasons you would purchase a convertible in the first place?

Lots of people tint convertables. Your not ALWAYS gonna feel like driving around with the top down :popcorn You can get the benefit of heat rejection, protection from uv rays and some privacy and it adds looks to the vehicle.

that question, on this forum is like...............................

uncle sam asking if you would like to have a year off from paying taxes?

seriously tho tint it. you wont have the top off all the time and when your windows are up, it will have a nice look to it.

Reasoning....

Screen the UV, heat and some of the light so the interior will look good longer thereby increasing the resale value when you sell.

And... creature comfort when the top is up... :spit
