it would be a good idea, although, I tried doing so but I got no response in my area, (direct mailing)

coupons? unless your prices are not too low then its ok, I woudnt recommend it if you selling price (average) is lower than everyone else, you'll be ripping yourself off...

are you oin the local yellow pages? that's more effective espcially if you advertise in the most popular one, we get alot of biz off that..

I got a 4% return on the mailer I ran last year. It covered the cost of the investment but not worth the trouble. I will never waste money on that again. I would rather print the mailers and hand them out to a target audience through interior decorators or blind companies. Just My Opinion.

print flyers on your own and go to some other businesses and ask if you can leave you flyer on their counter and in return you will do the same for them. it works pretty good with cell phone stores, stereo shops and other store of that nature

I put in a $25 off coupon every few months, when it goes out I raise my price a bit and get excellent return, but it only works a certain times of the year, I have one going out next week, then usually just before christmas, and in april :beer
