Went on a job friday out in Aledo,TX which is about 45 min to an hour away, get there and dont have a knife, dont know where there might be a place to get one and the home owner is in a hurry get the job done and the film distributors are 45 to an hour away so had to do the whole job with an olfa blade.

Dont know how but didnt cut myself once and the job came out really nice and the home owner was very pleased. Took almost the whole day to do it though cause I was going so slow trying not to cut myself. O and the home owner made me lunch to so that was also a plus because I wasnt gonna stop to go get something to eat cause it was takin so long.

MORAL= always make sure you got everything you need to do the job cause tinting all day with a olfa blade will give you carpel tunnel.

sweet, good thinkin. I was thinkin about something like that but there wasnt much for me to work with, new house and the owners were just movin in. Plus I find myself wasting more time thinkin something up then just starting it.

I keep 1 Olfa in pouch, One in pocket at all times, and an unopend on in the tool box.

Now duct tape I did forget on the comm job I did today, so no vents got taped up :poop

yea just one olfa blade no knife. just pure unadulterated exposed blade waiting to slice the tip of my finger off. towards the end of the job I got used to it.

:dunno a few days after reading this post, what did I do?? Ha. Was using my knives to cut up boxes and sort out old crop and of course none of them ended up back in my tool box :shock

I tried the bare blade for a while, but trimming freehand was a pain... I took an early lunch and drove to the hardware store to get a cheapie... never again!
