Middle of the week, this kid calls me with a 99 mustang. Needs it stripped and retinted. He was referred by another customer. His only day off is Sunday. So, I asked him if he was sure he was coming. "Absolutely" he says. Its been kinda slow, so I give him a price and set him an appointment for 9:00 this morning. Meanwhile, I cancel going to my parents house, bow out on my nephews T-ball game. by 11:00, I am fuming. not even the decency to call and tell me. Its now 7:00 pm and still no phone call. Friggin' azzhole customers!!!!!! :lol2:bat:finger: Next time, IF he has the nerve to call back, Ill do the job. Ill add 100.00 to the agreed upon price and He'll pay in advance :bingo:lol2:lol2

Yeah, guys bad as I hate to admit it, its been that slow. Plus I would have gotten good money. Full price plus 25% for Sunday. And yes I have his phone #. I'm waiting to calm down before I call and ask the little Prik why the lack of consideration. And he WILL pre-pay. His only day off is Sunday and I think I am the only Idiot stupid enough to do it. But I am adding 100.00 for this lack of respect. :finger:

This has always been a problem. People just don't care, unless its their time. I heard that tinting customers are a 40% noshow probability. Gotta love it :evileye

He probably got one of his buddies to do it for him.

Now he'll bring it back with adhesive all over the glass wanting a deal cause he "helped you out" by stripping off the old film.

When I even think some one will not show on a weekend job, I call them from my house before I leave. Although, would be pissed if I had to cancel plans to make a few bucks for the A-Hole to not show or call.

right on the front page:

Although the concept of tinting windows is relatively straight forward, in practice window tinting is an art, if you want professional results, take it to a window tinting professional. There are things about all trades that can only be learned by doing.

If you are planning to tint just one car, it's really not worth the expense of buying tools and materials and then discovering just how difficult the window tinting trade is through trial and error. However, if you plan on tinting several cars, or going into the window tinting field, then this is a good place learn the basic window tinting procedures...

Tinting is not an easy trade to master, it's more of an art, especially automotive. Please don't expect this simple set of window tinting instructions to enable you to do a professional job. This site is mainly geared to window tinting professionals, not the 'do it yourselfer', but if you are committed and have reasonable expectations, this is an excellent place to learn the basics and make contacts with other tinters and suppliers.

don't blame this on me :evileye
