I know this topic has been covered already probably about 10000000 x's and for that I apologise. I was just curious what got you guys interested in the window tinting business?

Im aslo curious how you guys learned the trade of tinting and if you reccomend any training videos and tools to get me started. I know absolutely nothing about window tiniting but I'd love to learn!

If someone can link me in the right direction and feed me some pointers to learn on my own in my own free time I'd appreciatte it. I am quite coordinated and crafty so I dont think it will be difficult for me to get going. Please help a newbie out, I am willing to do what it takes to get going!

TIA!

Let me ask you this, usually how long is required to become a decent tinter with consistent practice?

Marty, get yourself a good supply of "fukitol" or prozac, a few rolls of tint, a heat gun, an Olfa, squeegee, and a car and have at it!! No seriously, we all have years of experience, but we all started like you. I have seen people be good in as little as 6 months, or like me, after about 2 years to be good. when I started there were no schools. accept the fact that you are going to waste film and in doing that you'll get better. Hope this helps, and dont take the smart asses like me too serious. WELCOME to insanity :thumb :inot
