GMDL-BP, whats it do?

ok, I've got a 2005 Silverado and I want to add keyless entry to it. it has power door locks already. I was going to buy this alarm, but now I dont think it will work. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=7966391539

anybody know for sure if it will?

I found online about a GMDL-BP but I cant tell for sure what it does or what it tis for. it says it controls door locks, PK3, and OEM security systems. so you just plug this little thingy in and your good to go? or do you still need a keyless entry system? I'd rather have something with some GM factory style key fobs, like the ones in the ebay auction. can I get one of these GMDL-BP and add some GM key fobs and have the programed?

somebody that has installed one of these on a 2003 or newer truck, please help!

The ebay alarm I dont have a clue on, but the GMDL-BP is a bypass to add to an aftermarket alarm/remote start/keyless entry so it will interface with your truck.

so I have to buy one of these, then buy an alarm or keyless entry system too?

you dont NEED the gmdl but it makes it much easier to install a aftermarket alarm/remote start

ok, so I dont need the GMDL-BP? if I get an aftermarket alarm, is it possible to have GM key fobs programed for it? id rather have factory looking stuff.

what aftermarket keyless entry system would you suggest? I dont reallt need a full alarm, just want keyless entry. I'd like to have one that works excatly the same as the factory system, with lights flash, horn chirp, drivers door priority.
