on these windows that drop a half inch when opened what is the correct way to tint those I haven't really ever figured it out. Like on a friend of mines 350Z I couldn't find the trigger that is released in the door jams to tape it up or whatever.??

either a button or trip the latch. theres a spring loaded tool that every tint supply house sell you can even find these on the net.

if you cant find the swintch. stick your finger in the latch until it clicks, just dont close the door until you use the door handle to unlatch it. you'll bust the latch on the striker if its not in the spread eagle possition.

Usually... two clicks in the latch part of the door that grabs the post on the vehicle and it'll snap that window back up while the door is open. Then open the latches back up (after it's dried a bit) pull up on the handle outside as you use a tiny screwdriver to ease those latch hookers back open two clicks.

shouldnt need a screwdriver...usually if you just use the handle on the inside they pop out on their own. screwdrivers just advocate prying.

Most cars do have the pin located on the body of the car.

The 05 Mustang you have to shut the latch in the rear of the door and like most have said, dont forget to unlatch it before you shut the door.

I use a Quik Grip mini bar clamp from home depot. just clamp it on the door button on the body and it keeps the window from droppong with the door open. Dont forgett to unclamp it after tinting it. can cause serious damage if you shut the door on it. I like it because of easy to put on and easy to come off. :wall
