white card tip

I don't know of how much use this will be to some of you, but when my white cards get to where they are scratching the tint, I'll take 0000 steel wool and buff the edges, makes them smooth again. I also like to cut my cards diagonally, for getting in hard to reach corners.....

I've used the white, gold, black, blue and the grey teflon cards with no cover and found it really depends upon the film type and how aggressive the pressure used.

My preference is the black and blue cards for finish work... gold for heat forming white as a universal and the grey (platinum) I have found no use for in window film.

All can be maintained with the use of a hard card sharpener save the platinum teflon... it disintegrates when run through the sharpener.

Steel wool... an economical sharpener. :wall
