Guest Detpack
I just purchased a 2001 F-150 with a viper remote start kit already installed, the first 2 days were great, start it up, would run fine. Now whenever I start it up, it runs for about 30 seconds then shuts off. Any help or advice on this matter would be most helpfull.
Guest Detpack
Update: With the key in the start position and using remote start, it stays running. With the key in any other position or using it with the key in the on position then taking the key out causes the vehichle to turn off within 30 seconds. Guest pooner
Did you install a transponder bypass? If so it must not be send a proper signal. That would explain the key in the ignition allowing it to start. Those transponder bypass can be real finicky. If even a slight movement can make them stop working properly. Hope this helps.
