good Tint places in New Jersey

I'm in South Jersey (Berlin), and work in Philly. Would prefer a NJ shop, but can go to Philly. Need a good tint pro... to remove recently applied Gila "custom-cut" tint from rear window and apply new 5%. I have a 2000 Dodge Stratus (NOT the PITA coupe).

Thanks,

Dave

I don't mind his talk of Gila film... although I am curious as to whether or not the issues encountered with ordering precut were ever addressed directly with Gila or is this the sounding board for relief... :thumb

Furthermore, NJ Sate law allows the use of limo on windows behind the 'B' post so he's well within his right to speak of that film. :bingo

Ummm... was there a post in there that got deleted or something? "...his talk of Gila film..." and "he's well within his rights..." ???

Anyway. No I haven't spoken to Gila, nor do I plan to do so. For the $50, it's not worth arguing over. I suspect they'd simply call it an "install error" and refuse to cover it anyway... maybe they'd be right, but I don't think so. I have a nice clean 2-car garage that I used to install. I followed the directions to the letter. It didn't turn out. I'm a big boy, I knew I was taking a risk, I accept the consequences.

I have no great issue with Gila. I felt comfortable ordering from them. They are a name I recognized, and figured they made good products. For all I know, they make the best film on the planet... they just don't make the best pre-cut.

I already researched NJ law on tinting. I have no interest in getting tickets for !llegal tint. I'm not some stupid punk-a$$ kid. I'm a 43 yo guy that likes messing with his car. I tried it, it turned out "OK", it would have been perfect if the patterns were cut properly (and the instructions said to trim the overlap seams on the rear window). But its not perfect. I want perfect.

I'm not looking for a fight, honest. I'm a nice guy. I just WANT A TINTER! I thought this would be a good place to find one.

I looked in the registry, the only 2 in NJ look like they don't do auto tint... one may have, but is Northern NJ... doesn't help me. Also looked for the "member map" but it doesn't seem to work for me. The fact that I dredged up a thread that's been dead for 5 months oughta indicate that I at least TRIED searching the site for info.

Sooooo... could I just get a simple referral from someone?

Thanks again,

Dave

(and really, I am a nice guy... most of the time)
