blade
who just moved here from Louisiana. Got a ticket for his tint being too dark. He wanted to know why Washington State doesn't have a "security exemption" for tinting. http://www.lsp.org/lse_form3.html The part that gets me is this... Security exemption waivers shall apply, but not be limited, to: Businesses, companies, or individuals that, on a regular recurring basis, either sell, or transport high-valued equipment that, by its very nature, has a higher than usual likelihood of being stolen Anyone could fall under this exemption. This dude wanted to get around the law up here like he did down there by saying he always transported expensive equipment in his 1997 VW Jetta. blade
That basically is what I told him. I was just shocked to see the exemption for Louisiana. He said no matter what he's fighting it in court. Funny thing....it was all purple. About 15%, and whoever tinted it didn't tint over the matrix all the way around the back glass. So there's a 1 inch gap all the way around the back glass. Better fight to keep that dude.

TINT
people try to get away with a bunch of crap, but in reality they're scared of getting a big fine, and the other is they dont want to take it off. or they're misinformed about the laws.
