Guest thetintshop
I took several pics of this 2003 camaro SS the other day, but none of the pics came out very good. but in this one, you can see what $79 will get you. note the tint at the bottom where it's chopped off because it started peeling. the drivers side was even worse. and the back glass......well, we won't even go there. 2 year old car, and the tint is shot. my dad has a truck I tinted 5 years ago that still looks like it did the day I installed it. BIG E
Thats a pretty easy car also. Should not have had trouble getting the film under the rubbers to keep it from peeling. Maby some cheep azz film and a lick and stick application!
Guest Total tint
how do these people stay around thats what causes people to come into most of our shops and question the hell out of us once they've got the sour taste it's hard to get them back
Guest pAiNtBaLlEr88
I mean come on, I'm pretty new to tinting and I can cut as straight as they did on that but I wouldn't let it leave the shop like that! It might take me a few attempts at it, but I would only let it leave until I knew that's the best I could of tinted it. What I don't see is how some of you pros cut almost perfectly straight lines using an olfa knife or whatever... I even use a template and it doesn't look as straight as some of you cut, maybe it's cuz I need more experience.

Guest pAiNtBaLlEr88
Oh not long, I started this summer doing a few things here and there. Now I'm considering tinting as a profession to pull me through college. Just trying to get some experience before I apply for a grunt job or get trained by a shop so at least I have some experience with it before I dive into tinting with real pros ya know? I can tell a difference in the quality of my work before I visited this site and after.
