Stereo problems

whats going on guys. Ive been haveing trouble with my girls Honda Civic Sony Xplode stereo I installed last year. Its begun to lose the memory everytime we turn off the car for 5 minutes. Like we program it, stations, adjuct bass treble, etc, and turn off the car and then dis-programs.

I burned a fuse once when I was installing it because the screwdriver touched something, there was a spark. I replaced the fuse which made it work again. But a few days later the problem started occuring.

My friends said for me to check the fuse box which I did and didnt find any burned fuses. All were good. Could it be a wire, harness, or something.

Take the headunit out and check the wires in the back, sounds like the constant power wire cam off.....just a thought good luck

just installed a new stereo to her car, my girls. It keeps on doing the same thing. Ive spend there like an hour or 2 trying to figure what the problem was. I was connecting wires here and there , turning off the car to see if it would happen again and boom. I was thinking of getting a new harness to see if thats the problem, it couldnt be the fuses cause I just checked them out this week.
