Georgia State Rep. Calvin Hill is/was the president of Gila Distributing, and was at one point the president of the IWFA.

...and Georgia threw out their tint law last year.

Calvin Hill quote: "Therefore, those who are trying now to take advantage of this period where there is no window-tint statute will have to remove the tint later. "

What the heck does he care if he's still involved with Gila? He's probably profiting like a mad mofo during this "no tint law" situation they're having down there.

The rest of the article is here: http://www.enjoythedrive.com/content/?ID=33237

Interesting read.

well any good shop that I know of here in ATL still pushes 35% although we don't know for sure it the law will come back at the same percentage. We see no reason for it not to, but the way things go now u never know.

I don't think he wants to :@#$% to hit the fan tohar, we know it is going to happen but hey :nope

Calvin is no longer president of Gila Inc. I believe he gave it up to take on the office he now holds.

And... I think his concern is more over the fact that running amok and tinting anyway one wants will only make it more difficult to get the same 35% of law re-enacted, not so much over dollars and cents. :embar
