"The new BMW 1 series incorporates 2 seals on the windups, the normal rubber weather seal on the top of the door and a plastic seal inside the door. The plastic seal is known to scratch film and the previous experience of one dealership was that lining the plastic seal with felt did not work when the felt adhesive gave way in the recent hot weather."
