Guest mdevine
I just purchased a black 2002 Saab 9-5 Aero. It came with tinted windows. I was told that the tint is as dark as allowed in Indiana. The tint is too dark for me. I live in Rochester, NY. I would prefer a tint that is slightly darker then stock. Not reflective at all. Any recommendations for type of tint that I may want. would a smoke/grey color tint look ok on a black car? any brand of tint that is best? Thanks, Mike
Guest pAiNtBaLlEr88
I believe that the Indiana tint law is 35% in the front, 20% in the back. IMO, that's not very dark to where it's not comfortable to see out of at night or whatever.
Guest mdevine
It is not too dark to see out of. The side windows are just darker then I prefer. Friends and family are calling me a gangsta. Not the look I am going for. Not that there is anything wrong with that look, its just not for me.
Guest Tint Masters
Go with what your tinter in your town says will look good :gay Maybe the same % all around will look best for you
TINT
35% all around should be ok. 50% as well. since the car is black. 50% would look like 35% I would stick at least with HP films to keep that warranty against bubbling, or fading. You'll want to got to a shop and then make your choice there Just go to one thats been in business for over 5 years and that you can look at their prior work, You'll be fine after that
