Guest antho2006
Hi everyone, I'm going back tomorrow to pick up my 2005 G35 Sedan Brilliant Silver/Graphite. The dealership has offered to put on Formula one tints for free, and I was given a choice of Classic, Premier, Ultimate. I have it narrowed down to Premier and Ultimate. Can anyone give me info on these 2 tints and which one will look better with my silver car. Thanks.

oldtinter
Why can't you just trust your tinter to lead you in the right direction? If you didn't go for a lowball price, I'm sure he knows what he's doing, and has samples you can actually see. Geeesh...Have a little faith. [*]239595 By all means if it's free my friend then accept nothing less than professional installation of a high performance fader film. Mention "fader-tints" to your installer and he'll know exactly what you want.
Texastintchick
And it is "tint"! Not "tints". Not real familiar with F1 but, I am sure one is dyed, HP, and full metal. I would think Premier would be HP and that is what I would probably sell you. It is all about personal preference... Only you can decide
TINT
well if your car has GPS ask for the film that wont disrupt it, or any film type that would make it stop working properly, for example metalized film messes up GPS, AM , radio reception, etc etc. stick with the HP FILM or if they have DYED FILM warrantied against fading like 3M does. Guest antho2006
oldtinter- I was presented with a choice of either Ultimate or Premier (also Classic). My salesman didn't know anything, so he said those two were basically the same thing. That's why I'm asking the resident experts here on this board. It isn't because I don't trust my tinter, it's because I wasn't given any info on these products. guest- I only saw a little 6X6 sample so their differences weren't very noticeable. tint- I don't have NAVI Ok, I guess I should ask my question a little bit differently. How are Ultimate and Premier different? What hues do they have? Thanks.
TINT
its been a long time since I used this film.... but ultimate series="super shiny" premier series= "shiny" comfort series= "normal tint look" classic series= "be ready to redo your windows in 2 years" the truth. it all depends on what you want. depending what your car color is, interior, you like it dark or light, dark in the back light in the front. which is it? you have to discuss with your film installer. being a place where they use F1 im sure they are professionals in helping you out, I would go to they're shop and discuss it with them. oldtinter
Yeah...All of which the tinter would have probably told you. Didn't realize you were going through a car dealer.(I think) Car dealers for the most part usually find the cheapest tinter, luckily this doesn't sound like your case. I would still stop by the shop that's actually doing the work though.
