I just happened on the DIY network's website.  They do have a story in their automotive section about DIY tinting.  I read the whole column, and there is not one word in there about heat shrinking or sectioning.  Image these poor fools when they try to tackle the back glass!!

Great DIY marketing strategy for both the DIY market and us professionals.

The stubborn ones that keep going at it and failing will go buy over and over again and those that give up will wind up in a professional's shop.

over the last couiple days checking out tint related stuff on auto boards I would have to say its about a 10 to 1 ratio on people that want to do it themselves and the people that say let a pro do it, almost everybody says take it to a pro, they have learned the hard way.
