Good, Bad & the Ugly

Okay as my sig suggests, it is best to have an open mind.

So, I, another oldtimer who has swore off no-name films, am going to look into Suntek's flat glass film. I would love to have Vista, but it is already carried by another company in my area. I need a dual-reflective I can use to compete with Vista. Is Suntek Symphony my answer?

Before I check into it though, I thought I'd put it to you guys and gals. How does their residential film 'symphony' stack up against other dual-reflective films like Vista or those offered by other companys (I think 3M has Night Vision)?

Anyone here used Symphony in a comparison with whatever you were using that can save me the time and trouble?

Anything, good, bad, ugly?

:cool

Well, since you asked I'll give you my opinion. It is a very respectable copy of the entire neutral and dual reflective line. If you put the comprables up side by side they have the same hues, however the polyester in the Vista line up is clearer and brighter. So at 30 cents psf more Vista offers preferable uv rejection and more importantly a nicer film to look through. The films handle identically. Vista has lots more marketing materials available for the dealer. My 2 cents. 8)

in my opinion it is not as much what film you have to offer. it is how you market the film you have. just because someone else is using vista. does not mean you need another film to offer your clientel. I could use the chepaest film on the market. but as long as I sell myself to the customer better than the other guy. I will get the job. so if your happy with vista continue to use it.

but, a quality film needs to be a priority as well. Salesmanship may get you in the door, the quality of the film speaks for you when you arent there.... good or bad

Just because someone else carry's vista in your area doesn't mean you can't. I thought LLumar got rid of the territory thing on Vista. I know they did in CA when they sold out to BEST window tinting. Vista dealers go up against BEST all the time with the same product.
