2015 Sweeps - You'll have to take the panels off. I didnt even bother with doing that. Windows - Their pretty fair. Just squeegee out the top pretty good then roll up the window and do the rest. Back Glass - super easy! DIFFICULTY: 3/5

Just did my first Countryman! 4 doors that have felt on the sides, get your tape out! 2 small 1/4s and an easy typical rear window.

Someone must have done one by now. The rest is cake but how did you do the doors? Did you pull the panels or tuck the film? The gasket seems very tight.

Here is a Cooper S I did in Marathon 20% in the rear and 35% on the front doors. I also had to hook it up with one of my custom cut sunstrips. The windshield had some serious bow to it. The best thing about my jig, is you can take out as much curve as you want to. Either alittle or alot. this one I went for as straight of a line as possible.

Can anyone give me info on how to remove the door panel gaskets on this thing? I tried removing the panel, but the rubber is molded to some aluminum rail, and if you try to remove that, the entire window/motor assembly wants to come out. The 'door latch trick' doesn't work on this car either. I wouldn't mind, just tint it with the window down an inch, if I could get this stupid gasket out!

Mini Cooper Clubman

Just did my first Clubman. Finished it in about an hour. Doors are the same, it has one long quarter glass behind the driver door. Behind the passanger door is a small suicide door with a glass, small quarter behind that and the back window is a barn door style with some small windows that need a little shrink.

Mini Cooper window sizes?

I haven't gotten my manual (bible) yet...it's been ordered, just not delivered... I have a Mini Cooper S on the schedule for this weekend. Can anyone tell me what the height of the windows are? I'll be ordering a roll of film for it, but I don't want to order a 40" roll if I don't need it. It looks like a 20" roll would fit all windows...anyone? Thanks, Bryan

Has anyone done one of these. What a cake walk. Did my first one today, took about 1.5 hours, next one will be done in under an hour. The only thing is the windows drop when you open the doors (like other BMW's), but other than that they are a easy buck!!

MINI COOPER S

I am a Cooper S driver and I was wondering what a reasonable price would be to get the entire vehicle tinted. I live in Texas and I know that the limit is 35 front, 35 back, any rear. Knowing this, I would like (preferably) the legal limit and the back as dark as possible to the point where I can still see through it well. I would like to have the iridescent tint where it is like a one-way mirror. What is that option called? Thank you in advance.

I posted this under the BMW forum because I didn't find a Mini forum, which is the brand of the car. Here goes...
