Doors - Decent. Pretty much like any standard coupe. The gaskets were a little tight, but nothing crazy. Make sure to snap or heat shrink of course. BG - super easy! it's the little one inside the cab. no need to snap or heat shrink. Overall Difficulty: 2/5

Looking for some tips on the small rear windows in the 458, 499s. Same thing with hurricans and a couple other lambos. I’m familiar with tinting exotics but I find the small rear window in cabin (not the quarters behind the doors) to be a complete pain. Never mind getting the cut right when your working with such an awkward space on the outside of those cars. I usually plot the small windows but I can’t seem to find a clean way to install them, half peel always leaves nasty creases that need to be heated out afterwards, Never looks 100% If anyone has any tips please let me know!!!

Special thanks to jttint1 for the advice. He basically said " just forget about the dang price tag and tint those cars!" Nothing crazy on either one. Just watch yourself. All windows on California drop when top drops (you'll want to do this to do the quarters). the 360 has a small Fiero-like back glass between the cockpit and the engine bay. I REMOVE NOTHING! As always.

Got a Ferrari 360 Modena booked in. The door glass and the small rear side glass looks easy enough. Obviously the customer doesnt want the window tinting that is part of the engine cover, that would be a shame, but he does want the glass piece that seperates the engine bay from the cabin behind the drivers and passengers seats tinting. Anyone done one of these before? If so any tips? Thanks.

FYI, this car was a PITA. Sides roll down 1/2" automatically like a BMW (no biggie if you have done it before) the front corners tuck in so far behind the mirror that you have to tuck the film in with an olfa and chisled hard card. The rear glass is so sloped that I had to lay in with my arse on the center console and legs on each front seat, tint it upside down, reverse roll, laying on my back. Here is the cracker; the rear defrost lines are so thin that steel wool looked to be taking them off. I just taped the edges with 2" masking and used a rubber squeegee 2-3x and my hand in between to feel any imperfections. Rear quarters and rear glass had 1" matrix around - …
